Hello everyone, I am Chewy an adult female Boxer mix! I was put on a website for free! The only person that even considered taking me in was someone that wanted to use me for a hunting dog. That didn?t sound bad until he mentioned he had lost his last hunting dog and wanted a new one. Luckily for me a Bullie Nation Rescue foster was watching my post and decided to take me in to foster. Now I am here and ready to go to my forever home!
I am super sweet girl; you won?t find a dog happier than me! I love kids (all sizes), women, and men! I am great with dogs my own size! Due to how excited I get I am not suggested for a home with cats or really small dogs! It?s not because I do not like them I just get very excited and could easily run right over them. I am potty and kennel trained. I am still working on my commands but I have sit down perfectly! I will still jump up sometimes but if you tell me to sit instead I will do it. I also need some leash manners, which the rescue is still working on with me. I am a high energy dog that will require daily walks/playtime! If there is another dog in the house to play with that seems to help with my energy also.
